ÉTHER SS26
ÉTHER grew from material experimentation and from the meaning of its name. In ancient thought, “aether” described an invisible substance that exists between matter, something present, yet almost untouchable.
ÉTHER is constructed through transparency. Crochet systems, sheer organza, mesh, and layered fabrics shape the silhouette rather than decorate it. Open areas are deliberate. Exposure is controlled.
The body is not hidden behind the garment, it completes it.
The collection consists of thirty looks that move gradually from denser constructions to lighter, suspended pieces. Symmetrical crochet grids evolved into irregular systems shaped by tension and density shifts. Every piece was tested directly on the body, balancing fragility with stability.
ÉTHER explores how lightness can hold form, and how vulnerability can become structure.
